Security and Operations

Public real-money launch requires contracts, backend, Flutter, indexer, paymaster, and end-to-end paper trading checks.

Admins cannot:

  • Transfer user USDC.
  • Transfer user Outcome Shares.
  • Change user Smart Account owners.
  • Seize or freeze direct redemption.
  • Edit historical fills.
  • Change market terms after trading opens.
  • Bypass fee ceilings.
  • Resolve markets outside published rules.

Allowed controls include pausing new market creation, pausing new order intake, disabling paymaster sponsorship, hiding affected markets, switching affected markets to close-only where rules allow, delaying finalization during correction windows, and retrying backend-owned settlement batches.

Required controls include self-exclusion, cool-off periods, trading limits, exposure limits, loss limit alerts, category controls, one-click cancel all, and close-only mode.

Self-excluded users cannot open new exposure through Arenaton, but they should still be able to cancel, close, or redeem where rules allow.
